Plain-pouched Hornbills Over Temenggor Lake

There are 10 species of hornbills known im Malaysia. Royal Belum have all the 10. Great, Rhino, Black, Wrinkled, Oriental Pied, White Crown, Helmeted, Bushy Crested, Wreated and the amazing Plain-Pouched Hornbill. Plain-poucheds come in June till November every year in groups.

Exciting Temenggor

Beside Royal Belum (northern part of the Temenggor Lake), Temenggor forest Reserved (to the south of the lake) offers the Elephants' salt lick (elephants' playground), caving he small Cermin cave, lantern bugs and waterfalls. Plain-pouched and other hornbills are here too.
