11/11/12, I lost 2 very closed friends. Che Mat & Mizi was chosen to meet Allah Taala on the same day.

Che Mat a Forestry Department staff was the Caretaker of "Pulau Tali Kail" i.e The Forestery Department's Recreational Centre in Temenggor Lake.  Those who had been to Pulau Tali Kail know that this hardworking man will entertain everybody i.e he was the boatman, housekeeper, steward, the guide, the handyman, sometimes the cook.. etc.........ALFATIHAH

Mizi, my ex service friend will always be remembered by his jokes and laughs.  An officer at the Gerik RELA Corps (Ikatan Relawan Rakyat) or the Volunteers of Malaysian People. In August 24th - Sept 4th, 1997, he, me, Udin, Awi and Paksu Aziz plus the late En. Mokhtar a Wildlife Department Officer attended a Nature Guide course in Lancang Pahang & we formed the pioneer Nature Guide team in Belum-Temenggor.  During the course, Mizi was elected as our leader or we then called Penghulu.
Me & Mizi early involvement in guiding are mostly in the Sara Valley... and the Kertei/Kenyir valley in Temenggor since Royal Belum to the North was a restricted area.  I really enjoyed guiding with him untill he was offered as an Officer in RELA Corps.  Due to workload he quit guiding & I lost an experienced guiding partner  and NOw I realy lost him....... ALFATIHAH

RENUNGAN Buat PANDUAN

Sabda Rasulullah S.A.W Bermaksud:

"Perbanyakkanlah mengingat-ingat tentang perkara-perkara yang menghapuskan kelazatan (maut)"

Tatkala Baginda Rasulullah S.A.W di tanya tentang orang yang pintar, siapakah dia di antara manusia.  Jawab Baginda:

"Mereka itulah orang-orang yang memperbanyak mengingati mati dan sentiasa bersedia untuk menerima mati.  Mereka itulah orang-orang yang pintar.  Mereka telah kembali ke Rahmatullah dengan membawa kemuliaan dunia dan kesejahteraan akhirat."

Surah Al-BAQARAH Ayat 132:

"Dan telah berwasiat pula (Nabi) Ibrahim kepada anak cucuya dan juga (Nabi) Ya'kub: Hai anak-anakku! Sesungguhnya Allah telah memilih agama ini untuk kamu.  Sebab itu janganlah sampai kamu mati melainkan di dalam agama Islam." 

Surah Al- A'RAF Ayat 126:
"Wahai Tuhan Kami! Lapangkanlah dada kami dengan sifat sabar dan wafatkanlah kami sebagai orang-orang Muslimin." 

Surah YUSOF Ayat 101

"Engkaulah (Allah) pelindungku di dunia dan di akhirat.  Wafatkanlah aku sebagai seorang Muslim dan kumpulkanlah aku bersama-sama orang-orang yang Soleh."
